Steps to Apply for a Chinese Visa

Step 1

Visit the official website of Embassy OF The People’s Republic of China In Papua New Guinea,read Introduction to Chinese visa, select the proper type of visa you want to apply for based on your purpose of your visit and prepare the corresponding documents.

Step 2

Visit “China Online Visa Processing System” (https://consular.mfa.gov.cn/VISA/), create an account with email (new applicant applied) and fill in the forms correctly and completely,upload required documents and submitted to the Chinese Embassy in Moresby Oceania for preliminary review (Do not submit your application to any other places). If problems are found in your application form or documents, your application will be returned for revision. You can make relevant revisions or supplements through “Track My Application” page. If you submit the application to other embassy or consulate, please enter your person center and cancel the submitted application. If you already have a pending application, you can not launch a new one until you have canceled the existing application.

Step 3

When the application page showing “Passport to be submitted” status, the applicant can deliver the passport and application info-page with bar code and other possibly required documents, in person or by entrusting someone else. No appointed is required.

After the visa section staff confirms that the documents are correct, they will collect the passport and issue a pick-up form for the submitter, which states the date when the visa can be picked up.

Step 4

Please pick up the passport and visa, in person or by entrusting someone else,during the office hours at the date stated on the pick-up form or any working days after. Temporarily, visa fee can only be paid by cash at the embassy.
